Sidewalk repair safe walkways again

Sidewalks and walkways get cracked by tree roots, broken by vehicles and lifted or dropped by moving soil. A trip hazard on the way to your front door is worth fixing.

Walkway problems

  • Raised or sunken sections you can trip on
  • Cracked and broken panels
  • Edges crumbling into the lawn
  • Roots lifting the walk

Repair, level or replace

If a section has dropped but is whole, leveling can bring it back in line. If it is broken, cutting out the panel and pouring a new one is usually the fix.

Tree roots

When roots are lifting a walk, the slab can only be fixed for long if the root situation is dealt with. We will point out what we see so you can decide how to handle the tree.

City sidewalks

Sidewalks along the street may be on public right-of-way. If you are not sure who is responsible for a sidewalk in front of your property, check with the City of Tyler before work starts.
