Concrete resurfacing · Tyler

Driveway resurfacing renew the top, keep the slab

If your driveway is level and in one piece but the surface is worn, pitted or stained, resurfacing can give it a fresh, even top without the cost and mess of tear-out.

Long driveway leading up to a detached garage

Sound familiar?

A good fit when

  • The surface is rough or pitted
  • Light flaking across the top
  • Stains that will not come out
  • The slab is level with no moving cracks

Check the slab first

Resurfacing follows the slab underneath. A driveway with sunken, heaved or broken panels needs leveling or repair first, or the problems show through.

Joints stay joints

Control joints in the original driveway have to be kept open through the new surface, so the slab can still move without cracking the overlay.
