The job
The owner was putting up a metal shop and needed a level floor that could take a truck and heavy tools.
What we found
The building kit called for anchor bolts in exact positions, and the owner planned to park a work truck inside.
What we did
We set the slab to the building layout with anchor bolts placed to the kit, reinforced it for vehicle loads and gave it a smooth trowel finish inside.

Worth knowing. Tell the concrete crew what will park inside before the pour. Thickness is easy to add then and impossible later.

What we found
There was no path at all, and the lawn between the drive and the porch stayed soft after rain.
What we did
We formed an L-shaped walk from the driveway to the porch, with an isolation joint where it meets the drive, and poured it with a broom finish.
